For my group, we didn't get the chance to make our gingerbread cathedral so i am going to talk about all of the features of the cathedral:
- Pointed Arches
- Rose Windows
- Flying Buttresses
- Gargoyles
- Tympanum
Pointed Arches- The Pointed Arch is considered one of the defining characteristics of medieval churches constructed in the Gothic Style, similar arches were used in Middle Eastern architecture hundreds of years before they employed in Western Europe. Pointed Arches were used to direct weight onto load-bearing columns at a sharp angle, Thus allowing for much taller vaulted ceilings.
Rose Windows- A large circular window, usually glazed with stained glass, having stone tracery radiating from the center, often with intricate petal-like patterns.
Flying Buttresses- An arched masonry support serving to bear thrust, as from a roof or vault, away from a main structure to an outer pier or buttress.
Stained Glass Windows- In architecture, a gargoyle is a carved stone grotesque, usually made of granite, with a spout designed to convey water from a roof and away from the side of a building thereby preventing rainwater from running down masonry walls and eroding the mortar between.
Tympanum- an architectural element located within the arch or pediment
Now, I didn't know what most of these words meant to be honest so I did look them up in the Urban Dictionary so all of this credit goes to that but yess I just basically explained what they are aha, the definition of them! :3 hope that was good enough
My Art Blog is mainly assignments that my teacher wants us to post on here so marking is much easier, but every now and then I will make posts if something really gets to me and I need to talk about it, if i create something and would like to share it or just something to keep the readers interested :)

Gingerbread Gothic Cathedral! Sara, Brooke & Kendra
For a new project, we are in Groups of 2 and 3 or sometimes more, but for my group I am with Brooke Brizard, and Kendra Paul!
What we have decided to do for our Cathedral is we are going to use Gingerbread to make it because we all want to eat it after! aha :) but we are going to make ours pretty basic actually, We went online yesterday and found a couple of good ideas for our Gingerbread Cathedral
Here they are:
The third one does look a little more complicated than the others but these are basically what we had in mind for out Cathedral, All of us girls were pretty worried about getting it to actually look nice and stay up and were also more concerned about decorating it afterwards but that has all been figured out! We should start working on it sometime this week or by Monday hopefully, We will make sure to post our results as we are making it :)
Thank you :D

PrintScreen Project!
For my print screening project I have decided to do do something a little more different and detailed then I did last year,
This was my project from last year:
That is what I had chosen to do because for the summer I was planning on going to a concert over the summer by that band, the name of the band that had written that song is Black Veil Brides!
This Is Them, the lead singer is my favorite! <3
That is my favorite song which is why I made the T-Shirt with the name of the song on it :)
I had ended up going to the concert and the lead singer Andy Biersack did end up seeing my shirt which was awesome :) he didnt say anything bout it but it was still an honor to have him see it. ANYWAYS before I ramble on,.
This is the T-Shirt I choose to make this year:
It is a lot more detailed and stuff this year, I loved creating the vision of New York City and how it would look through the eye of an Artistic Eye :D I thought that that was really cool and is shows how passionate I am on getting every possible detail right when it comes to making something of my choice! and I think that I will be able to do this :) I hope I will be able to succeed at making this. I don't wanna ruin a picture that I spent almost 4 hours making at home straight to go to waste! so lets hope good things come out of this and see what happens! Wish me luck! :)
Comment what you think of my idea thanks guys! :D

Project Process!
Okay I know I've been changing my mind ALOT lately about the Mosaic project and all! but I ended up doing a Stepping Stone that is all buttons! I think it looks really cool :) I just finished putting in the Cement today and it is now in the Kilm or however its spelt as we speak, it should be ready by tomorrow by the end of the day and I will post pictures of how it looks before i Grout it and everything and than I will post pictures of the complete end results when its all done :)
During the button adding process, The process of getting the buttons to stick to the paper was a little complicated because I guess I didn't cut it quite right so one end was a little too big so when I was half way through getting the buttons done, some parts started sticking up and wouldn't stay in place so that a little bit frustrating for me, But I did manage to get it good looking enough by the time I had added the cement.
During the cement process, that had to be the easiest part because well it took a little bit to get the cement to the right consistency and all but that was no problem :3
I did have fun with this project because there was no special pattern to my Stepping Stone, no neatness, no worry about perfection, just a big buttony messy mess. The way I like my art :) I like to make my Art as different and as weird as I possibly can because I don't like my art to look the same as everyone else's, I like to be different and for my art to really stick out! :) Appeal to someone, so my Stepping Stone is just a big mess of Small, Medium, Large buttons of all shapes and colors and I think its going to look cool :) I hope so. I'll keep you guys updated! <3

Mosaic Project Progress!
Okay well everybody remembers when I blogged about my Mosaic Idea and how I had everything planned out & how I had to change my first idea because people in my class had taken all of my supplies at the last minute and I had to change my plan to the Bottle thing.
Well I am in the process of doing the Bottle Project and it is NOT going as well as I had hoped it would go, I tried using the glue and putting some buttons and stained glass pieces on the bottle but they would not stay in place, the pieces kept falling off and it was just a TERRIBLE mess, so im not sure if i should keep trying to make the pieces stick to the bottle or if i should just try it on something else -___-
This process is VERY frustrating and hard to work with, i did not expect this. Im hoping things will go well.

Mosaic Project! (NEW!)
As most of you remember, I was planning on doing something like this for my Mosaic Project:
But.... sadly, that did not work out like I had planned, I had spent a class with 6 different containers filled with 6 different colored beads, buttons and other things for the color sorting like int hat picture that I would have ended up doing, but the next day when I had come to class, some girls in my class had taken those containers and used those to finish their art project! -.- was a VERY big let down so I had to end up changing my project.. :( So now what I plan on doing for it is THIS!:

I found this on Pintrest and i absolutely LOVED it!, I brought a glass bottle from home and I am going to cover that with these materials and give it a try! :3 I am VERYY excited to see how my end results turn out to be and how the entire process goes in general. But yeah, this is my NEW Mosaic Art Project and I will keep everybody updated on how it goes! :)

Mosaic Project!
For my mosaic project, there were quite a few ideas on what to make, what materials to use, and how to use them and wear to place them to make them look neat etc.... For my first idea I wanna take a stepping stone and make a pattern of colors over top of it using only colored beads. It'll look something like this:
This is for sure what I would like to try first! Its just so colorful and unique and messy and all over the place! all I need is some colored beads of these colors and i'm positive i can make this work! :)

Mosaic
1. What is a mosaic?
- A mosaic is A picture or pattern produced by arranging together small colored pieces of hard material, such as stone, tile, or glass.
2. When were mosaics used in history?
-The history of mosaic goes back some 4,000 years or more, with the use of terracotta cones pushed point-first into a background to give decoration. By the eighth century BC, there were pebble pavements, using different coloured stones to create patterns, although these tended to be unstructured decoration. It was the Greeks, in the four centuries BC, who raised the pebble technique to an art form, with precise geometric patterns and detailed scenes of people and animals. http://www.thejoyofshards.co.uk/history/
3. How were mosaics used?
- Many of the mosaics were floors. The ancient Romans had a heating system under their floors and perhaps the tiles were more functional than any other covering. These early mosaics can also be found around England, where the Romans also lived, under farmhouse floors. There is a museum in Cirenchester, in England, that has many of them. The purpose of a mosaic is that it is a technique of decoration art that was done in ancient Rome and an aspect of interior decoration of of cultural and also spiritual significance as in a cathedral.
4. What kinds of art were created?
- Abstract, Sketch, Scratch, Tile, Oil Paintings, there is ALOT of art.

For dot day we took a circle, planet shaped thingy :$ lol, and we put in ANY design we wanted to, we would color it if we wanted to and than use the Colar app thingy on your iPhone and see it come to life! :3 I did not color mine because I personally think that it looked better with just dark black lines! :3
It would not let me upload the picture myself, for some weird reason so here is the link to my Dot Day project and how i made mine look! :) I am very happy withe the end results :3

Second Post!
Second Post!:
By: Sara Rose Thomson
1. What Is A Sketchbook? What Is A Journal?
- A Sketchbook is what you would use to jot down your ideas of what you would LIKE to do for a project, how your going to lay it all down, put it together, what order you would like it all to be in and so on.... Your rough drafting in a Sketchbook until your ready to make the Final of what you chose to do.
- Well a journal can be anything you want it to be. A journal can be used to write your favorite personal Poems in, It can be used to Quote your favorite artists that make you in a certain mood!, It can be used to write songs, and it can be used to write down your inner most thoughts! for me... my "Journal" is all of those things.... mine is a mess! One page could be What I did today, how I felt about it, What I could have done to make it better and another page could be some of my favorite quotes, another page could be interesting quotes or sayings I heard that day and wanted to remember and study about later. and another page could all of a sudden be like one long poem or a jumbled up page of messy thoughts. A Journal can be anything you set your mind to because that is your personal PRIVATE book of anything that describes your character and who you are! You and you ONLY have all control over that book and what goes inside of it!
2. What kinds of materials are allowed in a sketchbook?
- The kinds of materials that are allowed in a sketchbook is kind of anything really, a Sketchbook is your Rough Draft of how you want everything to look and just go in the order that you would like it to. Your planning out everything that you want to put in there, What should go where, anything really. So there is very few limitations as to what materials can go in your Sketchbook.
New School Year! First Post
First Post:
1. What do you think of Art? Are you excited about this class or does it make you freak out a bit? Tell me about it.
- I think art is really the only way I can express myself and be able to show who I am as a person, There really is no other way I can truly be myself without getting judged extremely harshly on it, Art is the best way I can be myself and express how I feel and what I truly like about it in my own way!:)
- The feeling about this class is Mutual both ways really, I like art but I don't... If that makes sense because the part about Art I like is when your given an assignment and just told to go with it and make it your own and stuff, but if were given an assignment and told exactly what to do and how to make it look i can NOT do that because i'm not given a chance to show people what I can do, im being told to do something because they wanna see what they wanna see, not what other people can see.
2. "What Is Art?"
Find the best definition you can (Provide The Source) is there anything you would add to the definition?
- What Is Art.... Art to everyone is different, so I don’t think its possible to actually define the term. Most times, it is considered a visual representation of the creator’s mind and soul. Some consider photography art, and some don’t. Dance is art, pictures are art, painting singing, acting, you name it. It is all based on perspective, on how you look at things. Whatever the person puts his/her mind and soul into is art. So I don’t think there is an actual definition of the word art. We can’t explain art…..its just there….you get what I mean?
art to me, is expressing yourself beyond words and projecting your thoughts or emotions into a form of uniqueness. rather it be on paper,or expressed in music, poems, or pyhsical movement of the body.
3.i) What is your favorite thing about school? Why is it your favorite?
- My favorite thing about school has got to be Art Class, not just because I can mostly sit around for an hour and 15 minutes and just draw... But because it's the ONE CLASS where I get to express my own opinion, I get to put on paper what is inside my head and get a good reaction from other people out of it... I can do what I wanna do with that piece of paper, I can make it mine, I can make it look exactly how I want it to look and it doesnt matter because it's how I FEEL about that one piece of paper, nobody else! Just me and my thoughts! :)
ii) What is your least favorite thing about school?
- My least favorite thing about school is getting up in front of people and presenting or shouting out an answer I've always been kind of a quiet person... Always keeping to myself and not liking to talk or answer many things in front of people because I've always been scared on what their Perspective on me will be afterwards. Its a scary thought to have going through your head 24/7.
iii) What kinds of activities do you hate doing in school?
- Like I said before... Public Speaking &/Or Teamwork has got to be my GREATEST fear in school because...
Public Speaking/Presenting... Its TERRIFYING to get up in front of that class of what? 24? 17? 20? or even a whole school of people, getting up in front of them and speaking on what you had to do your work/research on, what answers you came up with.. how you got it.... What you would like to do to change it... it's a HORRIBLE thought and scary to do.
Teamwork... It is also quite scary for me to do because in Teamwork everybody ALWAYS wants to do their own thing, add their own thoughts and just do something that's theirs, not many people actually like to work with others, ESPECIALLY if they hardly know that person because you don't wanna work with someone you hardly ever talk to, let alone share your thoughts and feelings on what you wanna do on the project with them. I've never been one who "Works Well With Others" and I doubt I will be for a long time after this.
5. Are there any techniques you'd like to learn or develop?
- I would like to learn more about Abstract art and stuff like that cause Abstract Art has always been my most FAVORITE thing about art because its so crazy, and different and unexpected and just AMAZING all on it's own! with Abstract art you can basically take a BUNCH of ideas Non-Related to each other and just put them all meshed together one a single piece of paper or two! Why? because that's the point! it's not supposed to look like one big picture Related to each other, it's supposed to be Unique & Different & Fun and just Yourself and that's what I love most about it and that is the one Technique I would love to learn more about and work on the most.

Step 6- Revising & Refining (Late)
Did you share your preliminary work with others? What did they think of your work? Did anyone share suggestions that have helped you with your design? Were you able to make any changes? (Hint: if someone is kind enough to provide helpful suggestions to you, don't forget to reply!)
- Because I was late and had to do all of my posts in one day, I was not able to share it with people and have time to receive feedback but if you guys still would like to reply and stuff, with ideas for a project I could do next year, that would be awesome too!! or just for something to do over the summer! :)

Step 5- Producing Preliminary Work (Late)
After taking time to play with as many thoughts and materials as possible, you'll be able to make a rough draft (or preliminary design) for your artwork. Construct your composition by applying what you've learned through your experiments with media, and share with others by posting a picture of your work to your blog (digital portfolio). By requesting feedback from others, and by making any necessary adjustments, you'll be able to move to the next stage of the Creative Process.
- This is the look of my project as you all know, I mean I dont have any pictures of it finished but this is what it looks liked when it was ALMOST done.
- This is the look of my project as you all know, I mean I dont have any pictures of it finished but this is what it looks liked when it was ALMOST done.
This is the song that kind of describes the person that I am and how I chose to express myself through my project because Black Veil Brides is actually like, this band is my LIFE and they saved me from alot and they PERFECTLY describe who I am, their music is the person that I am.
Step 4- Exploring & Experimenting (Late)
Now it's time for a little bit of fun! PLAY with the materials that you hope to use. Experiment, and make a mess if necessary. Find out how you enjoy working with these materials and figure out what doesn't work as well. Are there any materials that work better together? Which ones, and why?
- At first I was going to try doing my project on a piece of LARGE white blank paper but for my project I was also sewing on buttons that are shaped and representing creativity in my personality, but than I found out that the paper always falls to the side that the Buttons are on and it did not look good at all, and the paint wasn't very good on paper, so I tried the paint on the Frame and that turned out very well, Than I sewed on the buttons and they stayed on very well and it looked super good so I went with the frame.

Step 3- Planning & Focusing (Late)
Which ideas did you like more than others? Why did you like these ideas? Did any sketches look better than others? Were you able to combine any aspects of your sketches?
- The ideas I liked more than others was probably like when I came to the realization that I wanted to just put a bunch of things from my Memory Box in my room onto this project because the stuff in thee describes me the most, instead of just a frame full of pictures that cant say much.
I liked these ideas because they really capture my image and show who I really am and I just think something that can capture and show PERFECTLY like a reflection the kind of person that you are, it's hard to pass up.
Well, I didnt really sketch anything at first, I just kind of did stuff right away and hoping that it would look good in the end, im kind of a "Do it now, worry later" kind of person, ive always been that way.
As you make your selections from your brainstorming (thumbnail sketches), try to explain your thoughts. You can use pictures to illustrate your thoughts.
- My thoughts during this was like, how am I going to express the kind of person that I AM, and have people like it? because I do not exactly feel as if I fit in much at this school, no offense or anything but the people in this school they kind of remind me of Zombies, they are all the same and act the same, I mean there may be like 3 people that are different than everyone else but thats about it when it comes to differences and I am one of the WAAY DIFFERENT people when it comes to comparing, so I was worried about having people actually like what I do because, they all like the same stuff almost and the stuff that I like, doesnt exactly clash with theirs.

Step 2- Imagining & Generating (Late)
Create a series of thumbnail sketches that show your first ideas. Think of this as 'visual brainstorming', and feel free to make this messy! Sketch, scratch, guess, and make plenty of mistakes. The main goal of this step is to come up with as many ideas as possible, so there is no need to be perfect.
-Because these posts are so late, I totally forgot about the steps and stuff so I just went through and did the project right away and finished it without posting or giving feedback and I am sorry so i do not have any thunbnail sketches or anything but I was kind of not sure at first on ideas and what to do and how I was going to have everything arranged, but Basically at the beginning, I thought that my project was just going to be mainly a cluster of photos of me and my friends and like how they have shapen me and made me the person that I am today but I couldnt find very many pictures where I was actually smiling sooo.. but yeahh sorry.
My thoughts on this project was kind of confused on exactly how I was going to express the person that I am and have it all fit on one frame because i have LOTS going through my mind and theres not always as much space I would like to work with available for me so I have to shorten it lots and leave things out but I managed t fit in most of my ideas into this project as youll probably see on the pictures I have posted already a while ago.

Step 1- Challenge & Inspiring (Late)
What are your first thoughts about your project?
- My first thoughts about my project are that like, I wanna do in on a very big piece of blank paper or a frame and I dont just wanna draw stuff like everybody seems to do when they do a project now a days, I want mine to pop-out, I want it to be DIFFERENT so I am gonna Sew things on, im gonna put real pictures and things at my house that resembles who I am, I am going to make it totally me!.
Do you have any concerns?
- Well, I am concerned that things aren't gonna work out like I plan, and im either not gonna have enough stuff to put on it or im gonna screw up and totally go blank and run out of ideas, that scares me.
Are there materials or techniques that might appeal to you?
- Well, the technique I like best and I am the best at working with is just kind of like having things scattered and clustered together, No specific order, just wherever things will fit because in the end, you actualy end up creating something really cool and neat that you never would have expected.

Portfolio Interview Questions
1. Which project was your favorite? Explain why.
The project that was my favorite probably had to be the "Self-Portrait" one that we did because I got to fill up a frame with a bunch of things that I think represent the person that I am and how it affects my life and stuff like that and I had lots of fun doing that. I also got the chance to really be my own person without people throwing ideas at me, I got to chose what to make and exactly how to make it myself, nobody else just my ideas put onto a frame and I really liked it and enjoyed it.
2. Which project did you like the least? What was it about this assignment that paled in comparison to others?
The project that I liked the least is actually probably got to be a tie between Scratch Art and the Tiles because, I don't know I just did not find any fun in doing those and I would have preferred to do something a little more fun and just exciting.
3. Which project taught you the most?
- What is a technique, a skill, history?.... (Explain)
The project that taught me the most would probably have to be the "Native Art" because before we started we watched the video on this guy talking about the history behind it and how he feels about it, how creative with the drawing and the colors that you can be because the art is all you and just the history and technique behind the Native Art was just so amazing and fascinating I really enjoyed it.
4. You took part in a project that helped to benefit the charity "Relay For Life". Explain the significance of creating art for a greater good. Does this impact your definition of art?
Upon doing the project for the charity event the significance in creating art for the Greater Good is actually something that I believe that EVERYONE should take part in because you are taking time out of your day everyday to create art and sell it so that you can raise all these types of things for charity and to help people who can't really help themselves much and I think that is something amazing. My definition of art has ALWAYS explained the person that I am and how I feel art comes out of certain people differently, everybody has their own definition of art and to be honest, I feel as if mine will always stay the same because, you can't exactly change your definition of something just like that, the way you feel and express your feelings about art is ALWAYS different through peoples eyes and it will always stay the same in mine.

Self-Portrait Art Project Progress
For my Self-Portrait like I had explained before, I had put it on a frame and covered it in a bunch of stuff that I had started collecting since I was in Grade.6 I think, well I am also planning on adding on some more stuff to it and moving some things around because what I also plan on doing is I had gone on my Facebook page and taken some pictures from Grade.7 and some OLD photos from when I was like 7 years old!, Well the picture from Grade.7 is of my and my BEST FRIEND Jazminn Lonnergan. She has been a part of my life ever since Grade.1 and she is also one of the MAIN characters in my life who has made me that person that I am today. So that will be added to my Self-Portrait as well!

Self-Portrait Project!
For my Art Class, we have started on a Self-Portrait, Basically coming up with stuff that expressed who we are and what makes us, the person basically that we are today!, What I had chosen to do was I put mine on a frame and I decorated it with Lace and home-made Rasta Sparkles, and for the background of it, I had painted it Rasta also,.... For the middle of it I had put in a OLD family photo of from when I was a kid at my Aunty`s wedding, and that symbolizes that my Family is the MAIN reason, that I am who I am today. :)... All around it I had filled it with stuff I was going to put on my bedroom but did not find the room or space to do so,... So I had chosen to use those for my Art Project!. The rose at the bottom was actually what I had gotten on my First Date, from a long term boyfriend. and all around it is, I have a drawing of a couple that I had drew myself, I have a piece of paper I had gotten from a `Take Me To The Pilot`comcert, the lead singer had given me himself, I also have Monster Tabs and Sewn-On buttons and all kinds of other things on there, but yeaaaaa... This is what I have chosen as my Self-Portrait.! :)

Scratch Art
Our class is now doing Scratch Art, Mrs.Rose the teacher put a Tea Pot and a Clay Cup on a desk and uncovered a window so that there was light shining through, All we had to do was take a piece of Black paper and a piece of Chalk and sketch it, But the challenge was that we could not draw lines, It was based on all shading. As you can see, some of them actually did turn out very well, This is just a practice for when we start the actual Scratch Art because once we start on that we can't really mess up so we've been doing ALOT of practicing the past couple days.

Lego Project ft. Amber Smith + Jade Hardy
This is the Lego Gothic Cathedrial that me and Amber Smith and Jade Hardy had decided to build for our project. We put 3 doors, 2 windows, a big opening in the middle, and the 2 stands on the side are to keep the Catherdial standing straight. We had also included some Flying Buttrises into the Cathedrial, They are kind of crooked because we didn't have much lego left and we ran out of materials part way through the building process so that is also why there is the hole in the middle. Now compared to the other Cathedrials that had been built, there may have been a few things left out in ours or not as many things included as some of the other groups but this is what we had chosen to include into our Cathedrial.
This is one of the cathedrals that we had used as an example and had compared ours to. We had compared and tried to add Towers, Chapels, Fleche, Fyling Buttresses and so on. We had made out catherdal as close to perfect as we could, But partway through building it we had run out of materials so we could only add as much as we could. Bu this is a Cathedral that was thought of as an example for ours.

Song Interprited For Music & Art Project
Sunday, 24 February 2013
Art Project!
For my art project we had to pick our favorite song and interprit what makes up the song through something of our choice, Some people chose Drawing, Sculpting, Videos & more.... As for me, I have chosen to put my art onto a T-Shirt.
What I am pplanning on doing is in the picture above, I have drawn the song title of my favorite song (In The End: By Black Veil Brides) and I drew some things that I had seen in the video around the song title and also a couple of extras so show how this song speaks to me and how much it means to me. The drawing will be added onto the middle of the T-shirt and what I plan on doing is stitching the shirt up to make it fit me and I am also going to cut it up and probably cut up the bottom of the shirt and take off the sleeves and just make it kind of like a shirt you would wear to a (Metal Concert) or as a fun night out.
Heres a closer look of the design that I will be drawing and adding to the shirt:
What I have chosen here is there is the song title, and around it, there really wasn't anything in the video really related to the boarder that i have going around my entire design I added that in because it's kind of like, When I thought of it I just thought that it fit into the design really well. But for some letters I have some letters are stitched up, some are bleeding at the bottom, and some just have some cool designs I just wanted to add in. I added in some vines and some stitch work and music notes and more to tie it all together, for some things I really want to make the design on the shirt really pop-out, so I will also be adding some materials sewn onto the shirt to make it kind of POP! more, like Buttons & stuff, so yea this will be the design that shall be added onto the shirt. I have TOTAL faith that it will turn out well in this project. This si my project :3

Music & Art
What Kind Of Music Do You Listen To?
- The kind of music that I listen to is kind of like a mixture of Metal/Screamo & stuff related to those but I mostly listen to my favorite band (Black Veil Brides).
Why Do You Enjoy Certian Kinda Of Music Instead Of Others?
- Well for me some music just relates to what i'm going through at the time or how im feeling better than others, cause the band that I had listed above, their music just the first time I listened to it, I could really relate to the lyrics and it made my mood more controllable & helps me through most of the stuff I go through so. Metal/Rap/Screamo/Dubstep music kind of speaks rto me better than the Pop/Rock/Hip-Hop stuff most people listen to.
How Does Music Speak To You?
- Music speaks to me in ways I can really relate. Like my music I don't just listen to it when i'm bored or wanna listen to music, I actually take my music very seriously. My music helps me out when i'm Stressed, Depressed, Freaking-Out, Upset, Sad & sometimes I listen to my music to calm me down for a little while when I have nobody to turn to and talk things out about. Music has always been a BIG part of my life. I can't be without it because it speaks to me in ways I understand I relate to the lyrics, I understand the message behind the song & it's just amazing.
Are Some Songs More Significant Than Others? - Why?
- Yes, some songs are more significant than others in ways like, they can send more of a clear understanding message than others, they know how to make u relate, they can catch your attention more, and some just for some reason you listen to them and you're hooked INSTANTLY and it just makes sense.
Is A Song More Meaningful Or Successful Depending On Who Sings It? - Why?
- Well, sometimes yes because some people just kind of write music to like, just for something to do or because they think it would be a decent living, but other people , the people that inspire me or i look up to, they write music because they wanna send out a message, they wanna make sure that what they wanted to say will be known. They write music because it's something that's always been there and something that has always made them happy. Music is just more relateable to people. The people I look up to, their music is just amazing on so many levels, they touch hearts of ALL their fans and they make such a difference in soo many peoples lives, music has even saved peoples lives and that is what I find TRULY AMAZING.

My First Post
- What Is Your Definition Of Art?
Well, my definition of art is a way that people can express themselves & how they are feeling. I speak from experience because Music, Art & other things are how I normally express how I am feeling, Art is Creation, Expression, Inner Feelings, Sadness, Happiness, Depression & other things expressed through you choice of images and how someone would choose to express how they feel with just a piece of paper, a pencil & thoughts in you head. I don't always believe that everyone has their own definition of art, some people don't even believe there is a definition of it because it coudl be considered ALOT of different things but this is my definition if Art.
- Explain Why This Definition Is Legitimate, & If There Is Potential For Adding To, Or Alltering, The Def'n (Based On What You May Learn About)
This defintion is legitiment because Art basically is your heart put onto paper but through drawing & designing, It could be considered something completely different to someone else but this is my definition of Art, & what I think of it.
- Name 3 Materials And/Or Techniques That You've Never Worked With, But Would Be Curious To Explore/Experiment With

- What Are Your Stregths As A Student (WORK SKILLS), Your Interests, &Your Abilities As An Artist.
My strengths as a student are I am a VERY creative person, on paper, wardrobe, painting, stuff like that I have a very creative mind, My interests are Music, Art, Drama, Singing, Drawing, Movies, & Concerts, My abilities as an artist is sometimes its VERY hard for me to be given an assignment and told exactly what to draw or how to do it because if you give me an assignment but it's reallly specific on how I should do it, ill have problems and I could think of a different way that would make it more me, I work easier when im told to do whatever but it has to meet a good enough standard I ca do that, I have no problem doing that.
- What Is One Thing That You Find Very Difficult To Do In School? (Makes You Nervous, Makes You Wish You Were Somewhere Else, Makes You Mad)
Uhm, The one thing I find very difficult in school that makes me feel like that is sharing with a class or presenting like, I am a Out-going person once you get to know me but I NEVER like to present or share my thoughts on something, I've never been the one known to talking in front of many people, even in a group, I get shy & Nervous & sometimes I even feel mad, & every once in a while I feel as if im going to faint.
