Over the past while. My class has been working with Clay on and off, building whatever comes to mind and whatever we like, NOW this is my 3rd or 4th time trying this and this time it FINALLY worked and it looked the way I wanted it too! :) this took me about 2 weeks to shape, carve and paint! What I did was I took a big slab of clay and i shaped it into this metal pie plate thing. Than i dropped it from about eye distance off the ground and it would take shape of the plate. Th i would carve out my words and designs and than i CAREFULLY removed the clay from the plate and let it dry so i could paint it and this was my end result! :) i am very satisfied!
